GENESIS
K. V. IIT ROPAR, founded in 2021 is a Co Educational School with initial classes from I to X under the financial and administrative Control of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education with its Head Quarters at New Delhi.
VISION
To cater to the educational needs of the children of IIT employees and transferable Central Government employees including Defence and Para-Military personnel by providing a common programme of education. To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education.
MISSION
To initiate and promote experimentation and innovativeness in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education and the National Council of Educational Research and Training etc.

Our focus is on ensuring healthy and inclusive environment empowering all the students in their learning, across irrespective of caste, religion, gender, abilities etc. We, at KV IIT Ropar will put our efforts to ensure that learning doesn't become a burdensome activity for our students, rather, they enjoy it. Nobel Laureate Shri Rabindranath Tagore rightly said "the highest education is that which doesn't merely give us information but makes our life in harmony with all existence." I believe that the mind of a child is always on the alert, restless and eager to receive knowledge. In regards to Vidyalaya infrastructure, KV IIT Ropar is nowhere less than top rated schools in India. The amenities and aids here are of excellent quality. We will follow CBSE curriculum and all the guidelines of KendriyaVidyalayaSangathan.
